16 Days of Activism 2025
This 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (25 Nov – 10 Dec), we’re inviting our community to take part in powerful fundraising challenges that honour lives lost, raise awareness, and fuel our work supporting Black femme survivors.
Choose your challenge. Move with purpose. Raise funds. Spark change.
One challenge. Sixteen days. Infinite impact.
Take on a challenge that means something to you for each of the 16 Days of Activism. From journaling, meditating, and movement to creating art, reading books by Black femmes, or sharing resources online.
You decide the challenge. We bring the mission. Invite your community to sponsor you as you commit to 16 days of action, healing, or growth in solidarity with survivors.
Host a SANA Sunday Brunch during the 16 Days. A fundraising meal rooted in rest, resistance, and radical joy. Invite friends, family, or your community group for an intimate gathering that nourishes hearts and raises funds.
We’ll provide you with conversation prompts, donation cards, and digital table place cards to make it memorable.
Whether it’s a home brunch, potluck, or café meet-up, use this space to talk about gender-based violence, centre Black femmes, and give in solidarity.
Commit to walking 16,000 steps every day for 16 days to represent the thousands of Black femmes living with the impact of violence, injustice, and silence.
Whether you walk in your neighbourhood, on your lunch break, or on a treadmill, your steps will spark conversation, honour survivors, and raise funds for frontline work.
Move your body. Honour their memory. Fund the movement.
Walk or run 160km over 16 days — that’s 10km a day — to raise awareness of gender-based violence and fund specialist support for Black femmes across the UK.
Take on the challenge solo or with your squad. Set up your JustGiving page. Track your progress. Every step counts.
