Every trust and foundation we partner with—big or small—helps us uplift and support Black femme survivors of gender-based violence. We are deeply grateful for their generosity, as our work would not be possible without their commitment and compassion.
We partnered with the Social Enterprise Support Fund during the COVID-19 pandemic. They provided funding to enable social enterprises to continue the provision of essential services to those most impacted by the pandemic, and to survive a financially devastating period of repeated national and local lockdowns.
The fund helped us develop our digital web-based safe-space to improve access for Black femmes that are survivors or at risk of gender-based violence to holistic professional support and useful resources.
We’re extremely proud to be part of the Natwest Circle Fund. Since 2021, we have been providing fast, flexible and impactful grants of up to £500 to answer victims’ individual needs. The Circle Fund ensures survivors are supported in the right way, at the right time. For example, it has been used to provide secure locations and Ring doorbell systems. It has also provided essentials such as food and cots, winter shoes and bus fares. However, alongside emergency provisions, the fund is also focused on helping survivors rebuild their life and maintain a feeling of safety.
